In my romance novella, For Whom My Heart Beats Eternal, the protagonists are forty years apart and left to wonder what might have happened if they had been born closer together… until Anna is sent back in time to the 1970s, when the love of her life is a burgeoning young graduate student almost the same age as her…

The concept of time travel has always fascinated me. And then there’s the question: if we do travel in time, can we change the past/future, or would we have already traveled back and changed it? I love a good paradox to get me thinking!

i have always thought time travel could be fun. there’s a few era’s in the past I’d like to go visit. but I’d be very worried about changing things–sorta like in back to the future kinda way. it’d be scary to think that you could prevent yer own birth by preventing your folks from meeting

Laurie, I’ve wondered the same thing, too. If we were to go back, would we change our future (or our existence), or would we have ‘always’ gone back in the space-time continuum, and therefore, not be able to change anything? Thanks for stopping by!
I love the concept of time travel. What a hoot to be able to zip through time, but then those pesky consequences could be a real bummer.

You never know what the future might bring. I would love to time travel to several different eras, 1800’s , 1700’s, 1960’s

I agree, it would be great to be a “fly on the wall” in different eras. It would give such a new perspective on our own time!
I think time travel is possible. We may not be able to do it now, but maybe in the future. It might be a good idea that we don’t know how to control it, though. The consequences of time travel could be scary.

Not sure about time travel but the concept is very intriguing. I’ve already written the first of a series of time travel novles for kids 9-12. Adult novels to come later!

I recently read a conspiracy theory that “aliens” are just future humans coming back to try to find missing DNA they lost along the way… which is why they are trying to keep so secret. An interesting idea for a story, but you do have a point– if time travel happens in the future, wouldn’t we know about it by now? Thanks for stopping by!
